Where to go for an Xbox 360 Premium System
Are you one of the many people out there who are on the hunt for an Xbox 360 Premium system? If so, then you should know that there are a few retailers in particular that you can visit if you want an Xbox 360 Premium system or even the Microsoft Xbox 360 Core system. Of the hundreds out there, here are a few that are definitely worth considering.
Different Methods
Getting discount Xbox 360 games through renting is pretty self explanatory. Many online services charge a monthly fee in exchange for letting users rent games for as long as they desire. Brick and mortar stores like Blockbuster charge by the game and have late fees, but you can spend less on renting games if you complete them more quickly. Online discount Xbox 360 game renting services are most like Netflix in their business model.
You will also get a faceplace, and this removable faceplate comes in a few different stylish colors. There is a headset which will allow you to strategize with teammates or trash talk opponents while playing xbox games on Xbox Live. You even get a Live Silver membership with which you are able to chat with friends online, send and receive voice and text messages, and access new content from Xbox Live Marketplace demos such as trailers and casual games from Xbox Live Arcade.
If you’re interested in purchasing a next generation console, then the Xbox 360 video game system combines a great price with a grest selection of games and incredible graphics. There is simply no better value on the market today, although the Nintendo Wii has a number of exclusive titles which may appeal different gamers. The 20 Gb model goes for $300 (down from $350) in favor of the new 60 Gb model (with support for Netflix), which will replace the 20 Gb model at $350.
The bottom line is that this is a fantastic video game console, one that is definitely worth trying for yourself. Keep in mind that the prices are constantly lowering on older Xbox 360 pro systems as newer versions take their place, and so you can wait even just a few months and the cost will drop dramatically. You do always have the option of buying the game used, but you have to be very cautious if you decide to go this route because you can never really be too sure of the condition of the game if you are buying it used.
Even More Game Releases This Year
With so many big game releases like Halo Wars, Killzone 2 and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X already come and gone, there is a huge amount of games yet to be released this year, so I thought this would be an appropriate post. So, that said, here are some of the games that you should be looking forward to throughout the next coming months and the entire year really.
- Residient Evil 5 is the first one really worth mentioning, however, I personally won’t be buying this game, I just find it stupid how you can’t move and shoot or reload and shoot, but that’s just my opinion. I know that when this one comes out on March Friday 13th, it will be a massive hit.
- Crysis: Maximum Edition – This isn’t a new game, but a box set of all the games rolled into one, you get Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars (the multiplayer) and if you haven’t yet played any of them, that will be the perfect box set for you. March 20th is when this game is hitting the shelves.
- Singstar: Queen – March 20th.
- Aliens Colonial Marines. Not much has been said or relesed about this one, but my hopes are high for it. Strange release dates though for it, March 27th for PC and then unconfirmed for PS3 and Xbox 360.
- Batman Arkam Asylum. As I am a huge Batman fan, I hope this is going to be a good game. By the looks of the trailer you have to fight your way around the asylum. Looks like separate release dates for PS3 and 360, not convinced though.
- The Godfather 2 – 10/04
- The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. If you coulnd’t put down the first Chronicles of Riddick game, then you should love this one. with voices of Vin Diesel and still with a bit of FPS and hand combat involved, it should be a good game. Planned for release on April 24th.
- Fuel – I have only seen a few screenshots for this one, and it looks alot like the PS3 game, Motorstorm. Hopefully, it’s going to be a great racing game.
- X Men Origins Wolverine. We’ll just have to wait and see if this is going to be a good one as it’s a move game, some can be good and some can be poor.
- Terminator Salvation – 22/05
- Prototype – A strange one, you play as a genetically modified person who now has super powers, might be good. Set for release in June 2009
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction – This game has been in development for a long long time so it really carries alot of expectations but lets hope it will be released when they say this time, June 2009.
- The Sims 3 – Although alot of people play the Sims games, I hate them, simply because I think they have milked it too much. The amount of expansions that have been released is insane, but I know people will really want it, so here it’s in the list.
- Ghostbusters – Who ya gonna call? June 19th
- Dirt 2 – 9/09
- Tekken 6 – 25/09
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – This game was only announced recently but it will definitely be a massive hit, with the amount of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s sold and the amount of awards it picked up, this sequel will hopefully be even better.
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2
It looks like a pretty good upcoming year for games. Hopefully no game developers or publishers will go bust and end up cancelling some games, fingers crossed.

Is there a way to fix a dead/stuck pixel on lcd monitor?
This is really getting to me a had a monitor that i hook up to my xbox 360 and yesterday i notice a dead pixel. Is there anyway to fix it?
Answer:
Modern LC displays are “active matrix”–no, Neo is NOT involved (LOL)–which (in plain language) means that each pixel has a unique transistor associated with it. A dead or stuck pixel means that the associated transistor is defective; there is no way to repair it. Still Next-Gen After Two Years with Xbox 360 Video Games
Video games have been rising in popularity since the days of the Atari 2600, and the current age of video gaming began with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES for short). Two decades after the Nintendo started flying off of store shelves, there are three big consoles on the market: Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Sony’s Playstation 3, and Nintendo’s Wii. The first two will appeal to the same demographic of gamers, and they compare relatively closely in terms of graphics and other features. Therefore, the deciding factor should be their respective libraries of games. Gamers looking for a strong game library can turn to the hundreds of Xbox 360 video games on the market to fulfill their wishes.
Only a Few Exclusives
The biggest problem for many gamers about the Xbox 360 is that it only has a few exclusive Xbox 360 video game titles. Big titles like Grand Theft Auto IV and Bioshock have all come out on different platforms. Exclusive titles like the Playstation 3′s Metal Gear Solid 4 are big reasons why gamers might choose one platform over another. A recent example of the effects of exclusive titles came with Square Enix’s announcement that their upcoming game Final Fantasy XIII will no longer be a Playstation 3 exclusive. As Final Fantasy XIII will now be coming out also as an Xbox 360 video game, many gamers who might have purchased a Playstation 3 may decide to go with the Xbox 360 instead.
Shooter fans are bound to love Halo 3 and Gears of War, while RPG gamers are not left out in the cold with Xbox 360 video games. The RPG enthusiast will find Fable 2 and Age of Conan to their liking. Other big titles like Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and Bioshock will appeal to a large variety of players. To be able to play these games though, gamers will need an Xbox 360 game system. The current 20 Gb model is being sold at $300, while the new 60 Gb vesion will once again cost $350 (what the 20 Gb model cost until recently). With the system, gamers will be able to experience Xbox 360 video games in full HD 1080i (with support for 1080p). That’s the absolute best that gamers can ask for with the current generation of televisions, although computer monitors are capable of displaying slightly higher resolutions.
With so many Xbox 360 games already available and more coming out each year, gamers will find their experience with the Xbox 360 to always be exciting. All of the big genres are covered, even strategy games which have traditionally been a bastion of PC gaming. However, Microsoft develops both the Xbox platform and Windows, so gamers can expect a lot of crossover titles between the two platforms. For example, Xbox 360 games such as Bioshock, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Gears of War all appear on the PC as well. This allows gamers with incredibly fast PCs to experience even more amazing graphics, which all gamers can have affordable gameplay with the Xbox 360 pro system.

Mac OS X Leopard vs. Windows Vista?
I currently have a PC with Windows XP. Should I upgrade to Vista or get a Mac? Which os is better?
Answer:
i had a pc and switched to mac and i am glad that i did, i really did it because i am sick of Microsoft putting out crap.(xbox 360 and vista) but i am not having trouble finding software for it like others have said. i am really glad i did it the os load up so much faster then any windows os and just runs so much better. an important part of why macs run so well is because you can’t buy a bad computer, they only sell computers with good hardware. Which tends to be the Achilles heel of PC’s it is very easy to buy a bad computer. now dont think that macs are immune to problems, cause they arent. but they have fewer problems, that are easier to fix, and occur less frequently. Since i have had it i have had two issues with my mac the first was easy to fix, all i had to do was reset my P-ram, which was really easy to do the other required me to reinstall my os which sucked but my roommate was able to take all of my files off the computer so that wasnt much of a problem either. and this was caused because i downloaded a bad program that pretty much decimated my computer because it became a start up program so i couldnt start up my OS, which was nice lol
