Honor Points and PvP Tokens are two of the benefits of PvP combat. When you accumulate enough of these, you can use them to buy your character better gear than they could otherwise get their hands on. Honor Points

You earn Honor Points by killing characters from the opposing faction (Alliance or Horde). Earning PvP Tokens

Certain areas of the Outland give you PvP Tokens (the Mark of Honor Hold or Halaa Battle Token for example) as a reward for killing opposing players. Tokens are a lot like the Marks of Honor you earn in the battlegrounds, except PvP Tokens are only accepted by PvP vendors in the same zone where your character earned them. So if your character had Marks of Honor Hold, for example, Honor Hold PvP vendors would accept them. PvP Tokens become of little value when you get up to Level 70 or so, as the gear you can buy with them is meant for lower-level characters.

WoW Paladins are a schizophrenic bunch. On the one hand, they’re almost as good in hand-to-hand combat as Warriors. On the other hand, they can heal themselves and others like Priests do. Playing a Warlock class character in WoW Player Versus Player combat makes you a powerhouse, especially Arena play. Warlocks are downright nasty to fight against.
