WoW PvP Secrets: Understanding Honor Points and PvP Tokens
Honor Points and PvP Tokens are two of the benefits of PvP combat. When you accumulate enough of these, you can use them to buy your character better gear than they could otherwise get their hands on. In other words, you definitely want to accumulate Honor Points and PvP Tokens. This is how you do it:
Honor Points
You earn Honor Points by killing characters from the opposing faction (Alliance or Horde). That is, you’ll earn them as long as the character you killed was no more than 8 levels lower than your character. Killing characters that are more than 8 levels below you not only doesn’t give you honor, it is generally considered bad sportsmanship. So target characters that are higher level than you, your level, or at least within 8 levels below you if you want to increase your honor.
Once you accumulate enough Honor Points you can use them, along with Battleground Marks of Honor, to buy stuff in Stormwind City’s Champions’ Hall or Orgrimmar’s Hall of Legends. The available items range from consumables, to gems and trinkets, even high-end armor and weapons.
You can turn in one Mark of Honor from each battleground to gain extra honor as part of the Concerted Efforts quest (Alliance) or the For Great Honor quest (Horde). You can also repeat these quests to generate additional honor.
Earning PvP Tokens
Certain areas of the Outland give you PvP Tokens (the Mark of Honor Hold or Halaa Battle Token for example) as a reward for killing opposing players. Tokens are a lot like the Marks of Honor you earn in the battlegrounds, except PvP Tokens are only accepted by PvP vendors in the same zone where your character earned them. So if your character had Marks of Honor Hold, for example, Honor Hold PvP vendors would accept them. PvP Tokens become of little value when you get up to Level 70 or so, as the gear you can buy with them is meant for lower-level characters.
Now you know about how Honor Points and PvP Tokens can help your character get better gear. And you have some good ideas about where to go to earn them. But there’s so much more to learn if you really want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players. To get the complete story on PvP, including the most current strategies & tactics you can use to dominate all aspects of PvP, you need a killer PvP guide. Visit PvP-Bible.info
Use a Death Knight PvP Guide to Dominate in Player Versus Player Combat
A new player class, the Death Knight, now terrorizes WoW PvP arenas and battlegrounds. Trained in horrible magics by the Lich King himself, playing a Death Knight in PvP opens up new options in PvP combat. If you choose to play a Death Knight, a new range of melee and casting skills becomes available to you, resulting in the opportunity to craft a singularly deadly character. With the wide range of skills this class possesses, you you have access to any PvP combat style from melee to support caster, to healer. If you make the right choices and learn the ins and outs of this class, you could soon be leaving a trail of terror, not to mention diseased and dying opponents, wherever you tread in PvP battlegrounds.
Perhaps your most important consideration as a PvP Death Knight is your talent tree. With talents on the Frost, Unholy, and Blood lines, your need to be careful to choose talents that support your play style or you will fail to benefit from this class’s unique attributes. The talents in the Blood line will make your character more like a Warrior, with high DPS physical attacks, while Unholy talents will give you diseases and summoning to throw at your enemies. Talents in the Frost line nicely complement those in the other two lines, and make Frost/Blood or Frost/Unholy hybrids powerful. While of course your personal play style has a big effect, the right mix of Frost and Unholy talents may well be the best possible Death Knight PvP build. Regardless, knowing your PvP combat style will mightily effect how you build out your Death Knight.
Beyond deciding how to spec out your Death Knight, you need to know how to defeat the other player classes, and how they are likely to try to defeat you. While there’s some useful information available, everything to do with Death Knights is new and confusing. Getting advice from the top PvP players could make a huge difference in how well you do in PvP combat.
Considerations like these are why a Death Knight PvP guide can make a huge difference in your success. Even though Death Knights are relatively new player characters, many of the most experienced World of Warcraft PvP already have Death Knight experience that they share in newly-updated PvP Guides. Getting the top Death Knight PvP Guide can save you many hours of trial and error as you learn how to dominate the arena.
Find out how your Death Knight can come to dominate the PvP battlefield and achieve more than a 2200 honor rating in just a few weeks with the PvP Bible. Visit PvP-Bible.info to discover more about this great Death Knight PvP Guide, or get your copy of the Guide here.
Dominate PvP Using a Priest PvP Guide
Competing in World of Warcraft PvP combat as a Priest requires a lot of forethought and planning. With loads of mana and all sorts of heals, a Priest can be a strong PvP combatant. On the other hand, with little health and no armor, if an opponent can get past your Priest’s defenses, it’s all over. If you’re going to do well in Priest PvP combat, you had better have a smart plan. If you don’t, your Priest will be dying an awful lot.
When a Priest is part of a PvP combat group, it’s usually assumed that the Priest is there to heal the rest of the party. But they don’t have to be. Holy and Discipline Priests are very useful as part of arena or battleground groups, where they buff and debuff characters generally filling the time-honored healer role. Then there are the Shadow Priests. Armed with potent DPS (Damage Per Second) attacks, they can not only cause real harm to the enemy, but they can still do some healing for their allies. Whether your Priest provides aid and healing to your party, or kicks enemy tail on the attack largely depends on how you spec out and play the class.
Priests are extremely effective against many classes – they can crowd control with Fear and deal DoTs (Damage Over Time) spells, while dispelling nearly anything the opposing casters put up. However, when battling some other classes, Priests are in real danger. For example, an unskilled Priest has little hope of survival against a Rogue.
This is why a leading Priest PvP Guide is crucial. A great guide will not only show you strategies and tactics your Priest can use against each class, but will give the Priest a good idea about how other classes will approach the fight too. A quality Priest PvP Guide provides more than a handful of standard strategies for Priests. It will show you exactly how to take on all of the other classes in solo combat. And it should show how the Priest, in each of its three specs (Holy, Discipline, and Shadow), can best fit into a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.
Even if you do decide to learn the ins and outs of Priest PvP combat yourself, you’ll find that a quality PvP Guide will contain information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you vast amounts of time and energy you would otherwise spend trying to discover a Priest’s combat secrets on your own.

Dominate Player Versus Player with this Hunter PvP Guide
Playing a Hunter class character in World of Warcraft PvP requires some of the skills of a real hunter. You need to be able to quickly pick out a target and understand its likely behavior so you can anticipate its next move. You also need to know your own capabilities and the capabilities of your gear. And you need to be able to maneuver into the optimal position to take on your target without becoming a target yourself.
However, in Hunter PvP combat, there are issues that no real-world hunter has to deal with. Understanding the optimum time to employ your Freezing and Frost Traps and essential crowd control devices is one thing. You need to know how to maintain the ideal distance between you and your opponents to cause the most possible DPS damage in each fight. And you must do all this against a foe who is trying just as hard to out-think and out-maneuver you as you are to do the same to him.
To truly succeed in Hunter PvP combat, you need to know the strategy and tactics for killing each class of opponent. It’s particularly important to understand how Druids, Warriors, and Rogues are most likely to approach you. You also need to have a strategy for countering quick charges into hand-to-hand combat range by Warriors and Rogues.
You can learn much of what you need to win as a Hunter in PvP simply by spending time in the arena. But from my own personal experience, if you try this you can expect to get crushed and humiliated for a long time. You don’t want to know how many hours I spent at the bottom of the standings in the arena before I finally started getting the hang of it. Once I started reading a Hunter PvP Guide, I was able to make real progress.
Even if you do decide to learn the ins and outs of Hunter PvP combat yourself, you’ll find that a quality PvP Guide will contain strategies and tactics that are not obvious to newer players. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you vast amounts of time and energy you would otherwise spend on trial and error.

Rule PvP Using a Rogue PvP Guide
Playing a Rogue class character in World of Warcraft PvP combat can be amazing fun. Rogues have so many unique skills (like stealth and poisoning), they can take on their foes in ways no other class can. At the same time, all these unique skills can make Rogue PvP combat very complex.
When played well, a Rogue delivers more DPS (Damage Per Second) than any other player class in the arena. Not only that, but Rogues have a Hunter’s speed and the melee ability of a Warrior, along with some of the crowd control ability of a Warlock. Learn to use your Rogue’s abilities to the fullest and you can challenge anyone for dominance in PvP combat.
What really makes Rogues so successful in PvP combat is their combination attacks. With the right combos, called Stunlocks, a Rogue can so thoroughly dominate certain character types that they can terminate their target before the poor victim even gets off an attack! The trick is to learn the combinations to use against each type of enemy, then execute them efficiently in the middle of a battle.
Learning all the ins and outs of Rogue combat is hard. Understanding and perfecting stunlocks is hard enough, since they require precise timing and detailed positioning. Then add in the use of poisons, dropping combat, and evasion, all precision skills that you must master. Getting all this stuff sorted out by yourself isn’t easy. Fortunately, others have gone down this road before you, and captured all they’ve learned about using a Rogue in PvP Guide books. Choosing the best Rogue PvP Guide will save you many hours of trial and error as you learn how to dominate the arena.
Find out how your Rogue can come to dominate the battlefield and score above a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible. Rule Player Versus Player Combat Using this Mage PvP Guide
Playing a Mage in in WoW PvP (Player versus Player) combat has a special feel. I mean admit it. Didn’t you dream of having magical powers? The ability to use magic is one of the hallmarks of modern fantasy. Mage characters live and die by the way they use mana and your knowledge of the strengths and vulnerabilities of the types of characters you go up against in combat.. So while playing a Mage can be an incredible experience, this class can be very hard to master.
Any good Mage PvP Guide will tell you that if you want to be successful in PvP combat, you have to know your opponent and understand their strengths and weaknesses. This is especially important for Mages, because all you have is your magic and wasting your mana with the wrong strategy will likely mean a quick death. Run out of mana, and you are essentially helpless. The standard tactics that you’ll find for free online, or in low-quality PvP Guides suggests hammering whatever comes your way as hard as possible as early as possible to keep them away.
But that advice is too simplistic. Here’s one example of an exception to that general rule. Frost Mages have powerful defenses in their Ice Block and Frost Nova spells. That means they are much more robust than the usual caster, and don’t have to worry about dying the second their opponent gets close to them. Clearly there’s more to playing a Mage than just blasting away indiscriminately at anything in sight.
Truthfully, while Mages can be highly effective in PvP, they are among the hardest of all classes to master. With so many approaches to try, a Mage PvP Guide is truly a wise investment for turning your Mage into an effective PvP combatant. The kind of knowledge you’ll find in a Mage PvP Guide is particularly useful when going up against a class like the Warlock, which sometimes are tweaked specifically for assassinating Mages. And thanks to the Wrath of the Lich King (WOTLK), life has changed for Mages. You absolutely must have a PvP Guide that accounts for these changes to have any hope of rising into the elite.
Even if you do decide to learn the ins and outs of Mage PvP combat yourself, you’ll find that a quality PvP Guide will contain information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become skilled at PvP combat.

Rule Player Versus Player Combat with a Paladin PvP Guide
WoW Paladins are a schizophrenic bunch. On the one hand, they’re almost as good in hand-to-hand combat as Warriors. On the other hand, they can heal themselves and others like Priests do. This schizoid behavior carries over into World of Warcraft Paladin PvP combat, meaning that you really need to understand both sides of your character’s personality to dominate player versus player combat.
Given their two-sided personality, it’s no surprise that a Paladin can play a few different roles in player versus player. In duels, a Paladin’s ability to heal themselves can frustrate their opponents to no end. With a full load of mana, Paladins can use their self-healing abilities to recover from almost any level of damage once or twice. In effect, their healing abilities let them absorb triple the damage you might otherwise expect. In other words, a smart Paladin with mana available to use will still be standing long after they “should” be dead. In a group, A Paladin will often end up in a support role, fighting when necessary, while also providing bubbles, blessings, heals, and combat support wherever it is needed on the battlefield. This is a role that a skilled Palading will excel at, making them valuable assets for any party.
But the Paladin class has its shortcomings too. A Paladin’s mana supply is always limited, and once it is gone, so are many of this classes advantages. Even when their mana reserve is full, Paladins can have a terrible time drawing close enough to Hunters and Mages to even be able to hit them! The 2 secrets to winning battles as a Paladin are understanding the best ways to use your limited mana supply in various circumstances, and knowing how to fight each of the opposing classes. As with any class trying to master PvP combat, figuring out what you need to do by personal experience is a long, slow, bloody process that involves lots of dying on your Paladin’s part.
Avoiding that long and bloody stuff is where a Paladin PvP Guide comes in. The best guide will give you a detailed blueprint for fighting against each other character class. But it will give you much more that that. It will let you learn just about everything you could ever care to know about fighting and winning with a Paladin in each PvP environment, whether dueling or as part of a group.

Use a Shaman PvP Guide to Dominate in Player Versus Player Combat
If you have been playing a Shaman in WoW, you know just how versatile your character is. That flexibility translates into impressive abilities in PvP combat. Think of it: ripping up the enemy with Windfury while your totems make their life miserable and keep you safe from harm. If you know what you’re doing, Shaman PvP combat is incredible fun. The downside to your Shaman being able to do so many things is that there’s a significant learning curve you need to conquer to become good at player versus player combat.
What makes playing a Shaman difficult to master is the same thing that makes it so much fun once you do learn: all those totems. The Shaman class has a bunch of elemental specs with more than 30 different totems between them. For example, the Grounding Totem which disrupts attacks while Earthshock interrupts them. And some of them are very specific as to which class they are effective against, like Poison Cleanse which removes poisons as they are cast. Depending on which totem your Shaman uses, they can dispel attacks, keep Rogues out of combat, absorb the Warrior’s Intercept, and stop those cowardly Hunters from running away. There are totems that are effective in virtually any situation.
In other words, your success as a Shaman in PvP depends on how you use your totems. Get this right and you’ll dominate the battlefield. Get this wrong and you’ll spend a lot of time eating dirt. One of the big issues is that you can only create so many totems so fast. If you don’t know which to cast when, or you don’t know how to keep them up while using your mana efficiently, your Shaman will run out of mana and totems while the enemy is still standing. If that happens, expect death to follow shortly.
Do you see now why a quality Shaman PvP Guide should be at the top of your shopping list? In a quality guide, you’ll learn which totems to use against which opponents. You’ll learn how to use your totems effectively against each type of opponent and how to maintain your Shaman’s health and mana while holding your own against whatever danger comes your way. It will show you the best way to take on every type of opponent in one on one duels. And it will show you ways that your Shaman can best fit into a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.
Because a quality PvP Guide incorporates experience earned by veteran players in hundreds of hours of bloody combat, it will contain secrets that won’t be obvious to newer players like you. It will include all the key information you need to know, and save you the time it would take to learn everything on your own. Why spend weeks at the bottom of the pile, with no clear strategy, unsure about what totems to use against which opponents, and getting crushed by more experienced players when buying a Shaman PvP Guide will make you competitive fast?

Use a Warlock PvP Guide to Dominate Player Versus Player Combat
Playing a Warlock class character in WoW Player Versus Player combat makes you a powerhouse, especially Arena play. Warlocks are downright nasty to fight against. With their ability to literally curse other classes to death, Warlocks are often feared, even hated, in Player versus Player combat. But they’re not indestructible, and are vulnerable to any class of opponent, provided that opponent knows how to counteract the Warlock’s abilities.
It’s pretty easy to play a Warlock in PvP. All you need to do is lay a bunch of DoT (Damage Over Time) spells on your poor victim, then keep casting Fear on them until they fall over dead. Simple and brutally effective, if you do it correctly.
Being a Warlock, you can also suck mana right out of other characters for your own use. You can even regenerate your own health. And if you want, you can make life particularly miserable for other spell casters by siccing your Felhunter on them. In short, a well trained Warlock can defeat any other character class.
That said, if you don’t know what you’re doing, your Warlock is going to be dying fast and often in PvP. Warlocks can’t attack or defend themselves without magic, so they are at the mercy of any character that is able to drain their mana, remove their curses, or resist their fears. Knowing how to deal with such frustrating opponents is crucial to victory as a Warlock. It’s when learning each enemy’s strengths and weaknesses that a quality Warlock PvP Guide will transform your game.
So while Warlocks are incredibly powerful, they will go down before certain opponents if they don’t know the proper strategies and tactics. A quality PvP Guide helps you to acquire those strategies and tactics, based on the combat experience of other Warlocks who have already mastered them. Without such a Guide, you’re doomed to many hours of experimentation and endless deaths while you try to figure out what you need to know yourself.
For example, if a Priest succeeds in draining most of your Warlock’s mana, it will be very hard to retaliate. Also, Priests and Paladins have dispel abilities which allow them to remove your curses, taking away some of your most potent weapons. To succeed against the better opponents, you need to know what each class will do against your Warlock, as well as how often they can use their counters against you.
A good Warlock PvP Guide will answer these questions for you. In general, your best bet to being successful with a Warlock in PvP is to go into combat with a set of preplanned tactics that you will adjust on the fly, depending on the situation.
This is why getting yourself the best Warlock PvP Guide is so important. In a quality Guide, you’ll learn what and when to cast against each class, how they are likely to attack you, and how to respond to their attacks. You’ll learn what to do against each class in solo duels, and what to do as part of a 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 team.
Because a top notch PvP Guide incorporates the hard-earned combat experience of veteran Warlocks, it will contain strategies and tactics that are not obvious to newer players. It will teach you the most important things to know, saving you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

Dominate Player Versus Player Combat with a Warrior PvP Guide
Playing a Warrior class character in World of Warcraft PvP seems straightforward. Find the enemy, then pulverize him! But it isn’t really that simple at all. Let me explain.
Not surprisingly, Warriors excel at dealing massive amounts of physical damage to anything they get close to. What catches people by surprise is that good Warriors are more concerned about dealing with spellcasters than they are about losing a sword fight. The reason for this is simple. Only Paladins and other Warriors can survive in hand to hand combat with a skilled Warrior. But everything changes if their opponents have powerful magic on their side.
In truth, Warriors don’t get many opportunities to duel against other Warriors in the arena. Any decent PvP player knows that they stand little chance in close combat against a Warrior, so they don’t engage. Warriors often end up fighting spell casters and ranged fighters like Hunters. And that kind of combat definitely requires sound tactics, as well as a solid understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent.
The biggest concern for a Warrior tends to be how to get into melee range of the opponent. The other classes know better than to get you get too close, and will be doing everything they can to stay out of your range. To close the gap on the cowards, you will need to understand and effectively use specialized skills like Charge at the start of battles and Intercept to close the gap while in battle. Once close, your Warrior will need to use other skills like Hamstring and Intimidating Shout to stop the worms from fleeing as you load up on rage and hit the opponent as hard as possible.
Further complicating things is the way that casters and ranged fighters can prick you to death long before you get near them. For this reason, you must learn how to use your defensive stances and spell reflects, master the timing of Intercept and Hamstring, while always being to unload as much damage as possible when you get the chance. A quality Warrior PvP Guide will provide you all the information you need to do just that.
A quality Warrior PvP Guide will show you how to defeat the other character classes in those situations where weapons skill and sheer combat power aren’t the deciding factor. An effective Guide will teach you how to take on your opponents on your own terms and how to counteract ranged and casting fighters. A top-notch Warrior PvP Guide will also show you the proper use of your rage and crowd control abilities, enabling you to catch and dismember your foes.
In addition, because a quality PvP Guide incorporates the hard-earned combat lore of veteran Warriors, it will contain strategies and tactics that you wouldn’t likely discover on your own in any reasonable amount of time. With such a Guide you will learn the key things the most successful Warriors need to know, without your having to expend vast amounts of time on trial and error learning.
Find out how your Warrior can dominate the PvP battlefield and score above a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible.
