First thing you want to make sure you find is a photographer you like.It seems that that is an obvious thing to consider.  But I have heard many horror stories as a San Diego wedding photographer of people choosing photographers they don’t get along with.  This creates problems several ways.  They could be stubborn and take photos they want rather than what you want.He/She might not be suited to work with you since he/she might not be able to bring out the best in you.Choosing someone that you like is the key.

Next thing would be for you to make sure that the photographer that you would hire has some style.That may sound vague.What I am saying is that since photography is an art.Go find someone who has the ability to put some artistry into your wedding photos so that the emotions during that day will be felt even by just looking at the pictures.  Obviously art is subjective and based on what a person likes.So go find a photographer whose style is the one that suits you most.  All my clients of my San Diego photographer service go through my portfolio so they can see what style of work I have.

The wedding is one of the most special days for a couple’s life. For a lot of women they have been waiting for this their whole lives.  For men it is finally deciding to settle down with the woman of their dreams.  With it being so special there are so many important jobs to make that day special.One of those important jobs belong to the wedding photographer.Since it is an important part of your wedding you should choose a good one.So will you be able to do that?

Well as a San Diego wedding photographer I have seen the ways couples have gone about trying to choose ones.From my experience as a wedding photographer I’m going to show you some points to ponder when you are still undecided who to hire.

First of all you have to anticipate your budget.It would not do you any good if you find someone you like but is very expensive for you to afford. So first decide your budget and once you know that you can narrow your choices.  Of course since it is such a special day my opinion as a San Diego photographer is to now worry about price.Price should not be an object since we are talking about a photgrapher here that would capture the most magical day of a couples life. But if it is then you have to know what you can spend.Once you know the limit of your budget then it would be easier for you to look for a good photographer that you like.

After you have already determined the amount of money that you will spend on a photographer then it is time to look for one meticulously. It would be just like any kind of job.  If you owned a business would you just hire someone?Of course you would not do that and neither should you when looking for your wedding photographer.You would want to know if you are compatible personality wise.You would want to look at his/her work.  And from my experience as an event photographer San Diego, you want to see how much experience they have dealing with weddings. If you go and interview a lot of prospects then you should definitely find a photographer that you like.

First of all as a San Diego wedding photographer one of the best pieces of advice is to try and have the wedding shots during the best lighting.Now what time do we consider the best for taking wedding photos.  That is debatable.But a lot of photographers would agree that the best time to take pictures is early morning.Although it is also nice to capture photos on a late afternoon.By doing so, you will not be having problems with the excessive brightness from the sun when taking shots.This will give you the opportunity to take excellent photos.

Second as a San Diego photographer, I make sure to know the schedule of events.It is very important to take note of the schedule of events.  This allows the photographer to get ready to capture those moments.  By knowing when things are happening a photographer can anticipate shots.Not only the portrait shots but also the candid ones.Most of the time, candid shots are those that would really reflect the special moments that happened during that day.

Finally doing event photography in San Diego you should always be prepared. They should make sure they have backup film.They have to see to it that they are always ready with a backup camera in case the one in use gets broken. A backup is a must for any equipment that can be broken.The worst thing you wouldn’t want to happen as a photographer is when one of your equipments break.It would be terrible to miss taking shots when something breaks.Being always ready is the basic rule.If you are able to do so, you would have no problems taking pictures on that special event.
