Rule PvP Using a Rogue PvP Guide
Playing a Rogue class character in World of Warcraft PvP combat can be amazing fun. Rogues have so many unique skills (like stealth and poisoning), they can take on their foes in ways no other class can. At the same time, all these unique skills can make Rogue PvP combat very complex.
When played well, a Rogue delivers more DPS (Damage Per Second) than any other player class in the arena. Not only that, but Rogues have a Hunter’s speed and the melee ability of a Warrior, along with some of the crowd control ability of a Warlock. Learn to use your Rogue’s abilities to the fullest and you can challenge anyone for dominance in PvP combat.
What really makes Rogues so successful in PvP combat is their combination attacks. With the right combos, called Stunlocks, a Rogue can so thoroughly dominate certain character types that they can terminate their target before the poor victim even gets off an attack! The trick is to learn the combinations to use against each type of enemy, then execute them efficiently in the middle of a battle.
Learning all the ins and outs of Rogue combat is hard. Understanding and perfecting stunlocks is hard enough, since they require precise timing and detailed positioning. Then add in the use of poisons, dropping combat, and evasion, all precision skills that you must master. Getting all this stuff sorted out by yourself isn’t easy. Fortunately, others have gone down this road before you, and captured all they’ve learned about using a Rogue in PvP Guide books. Choosing the best Rogue PvP Guide will save you many hours of trial and error as you learn how to dominate the arena.
Find out how your Rogue can come to dominate the battlefield and score above a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible. Druid, Use This PvP Guide to Dominate Player Versus Player Combat
Fighting PvP as a Druid offers many options and opportunities, along with a lot of complexity. Druids are very tough to kill in the arena, and are unaffected by many of the crowd control techniques used by the opposition. With their varied abilities, including being able to heal, fight like a Warrior and even change forms, they can play any role in PvP. Unfortunately for you, that very versatility makes Druids prime targets, and makes Druid PvP play especially interesting.
Thanks to Druid’s varied abilities, they have a different optimal strategy for combating each class of opponent. That’s right, the best Druid Player versus Player players know and use 9 different strategies, one for each type of opponent they face. And of course, you also need to be able to adapt your Druid’s strategy to account for the strengths and weaknesses of your allies. There’s a lot of information to master, but there are major advantages to doing so.
Many people believe that Druids have the best talents for 2v2 arena play. Some would argue for the Rogue, but the Druid adds more depth and variety to 2-person teams. A well thought-out Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own most any opponent in duels, and lead a top-tier 2v2 arena team. And of course, these same attributes make Druids great additions to most 3v3 or 5v5 teams.
That’s the up side of using a Druid. But they do have weaknesses too. To be the best in PvP, you’ll need to understand your character’s weaknesses and be able to compensate for them. Choosing the right gear goes far toward minimizing those weakenesses, once you understand how to choose it. You can learn all this on your own, if you’re willing to make a major investment of time.
Or you can invest in a PvP guide that contains the distilled wisdom of the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide will teach you what you need to know fast, and assuredly contains information you would never stumble on by yourself.
World of Warcraft Mage
Class Strengths and Weaknesses
Mages do amazing damage, and have some of the best crowd control in the game. They are also the easiest class to kill. Essentially, Mages are glass cannons.
Mages do damage with direct spells, they can unleash huge damage in a little time and they have effective area of effect (AOE) spells that slow and damage every enemy in a certain radius.
Mages are very good at crowd control. They can polymorph enemies into sheep, and other critters, leaving the victim to wander around helplessly. They are able to retard the enemy in a frost blizzard. The Mages crowd control works well in both PVP and PVE gameplay.
Mages are depended upon to cause major damage in groups (raids and instances) as well as give out intellect buffs to all casters, polymorph key targets and set a nice table by way of conjuring a Table of Refreshments providing food to regenerated mana and health.
Suggested Professions
Tailoring with Enchanting is a good choice for a Mage (if you have lots of gold to level these expensive professions). You can create awesome armor for yourself that won’t be exceeded until you get raid gear.
Alchemy is also a good choice for the various buffs that will either make your strengths even stronger (more spell damage) or compensate for your weaknesses (damage absorption, more life).
Obviously, Blacksmithing and Leatherworking have little to offer, unless you are able to make them into lucrative gold-making professions.
Mage Talent Build
Starting with level 10, and from then on at every level, you get a talent point to spend. The Talent trees give you the ability to tailor your toon. Each of the three talent trees you have to choose from has a different focus of capabilities. Be sure to spend your talent point each time you level.
Careful planning of what tree or trees to spend your points on is vital. You have to pay gold to get talent points refunded. A few suggestions for the best mage builds are made for your class in World of Warcraft Mastery guides.
