New Completely Wireless Computers
Computers have been becoming more and more advanced every since they were first conceived. The most obvious advances have been in reducing the size of different computer parts, sometimes by up to as much as 5000%. This has meant that computers are great deal lighter and more mobile and also means that more technology and heatshrink products can be fitted in without compromising on overall size.
An area of technology that is seen major developments in recent years is wireless functionality. This has been implemented into the design of a large number of keyboards, mice and more recently Internet connections. However, most computers are still built using wires or alpha wire to connect the various components and this has its draw backs. To start with, wires often get in the way and limit what you can connect when making additions to the motherboard. Further to this, they often degrade over a period of time and cause malfunctioning of the computer.
This may all be about to change however with the development of wireless computer components that allow the different elements of a computer to communicate with each other without the need for cables. To put this in real terms the processor will be able to communicate will all other parts of the machine without the need for internal wires, which also means their will be less connection ports on each item and less chance of dust or dirt getting into them.It will also allow for different computer components to be in alternative locations. This may be useful if you need to carry your hard drive around with you or want to easily add another component without taking the computer apart.
The technology is still in testing stages but will be included in a number of computer systems by 2012 along with the new obstruction light technology for HD computer monitors.
