In owning a home one thing is certain pests never seem to disappear. They occur right after each other but they all have various seasons.  Because of that it makes it seem like you have to fight pests all year.But as a homeowner you can minimize the problems they give you by keeping yourself ready.

First of all in my San Diego pest control service I see this first hand that pests seem to never end.  With one season you have one type of pests that we always get calls on.Then the next time the calls decrease for that pest but another one comes.  It is a cycle that never seems to end.But you can absolutely fight back.We will look at the two major pests and discuss how they follow after each other.

The first one that disturbs us annually are the ants.  In my San Diego ant control service the ant season is the summer months.My company receives a large number of calls at this time.  This is when the ants are at their busiest.In preparation for the winter time they are busy storing food.  So the best way to minimize the problems with ants is to not give them any food or water.  So what you want to do is keep your home clean and don’t leave food out.

The rodents are the next big pest to come along.The rodents now come along to bother you as soon as the ants are gone.  These guys don’t come in during the summer because it is too hot to be in your house.  But what I have found in my San Diego rodent control service is that come winter they are looking for a place to hibernate.  The best thing to do is set up traps immediately.In your home you don’t want them to begin to increase in number.You can start killing them early by setting up traps early.
