Hp printer keeps telling me to check color cartridge?
Its a HP photosmart 2575 all-in-one. Its really annoying before i would just take it out and put it back in and it would be fine but now it keeps saying check it again. There is nothing wrong with the cartridge but it won’t print anything because it thinks there’s something wrong with the cartridge Help!!
Answer:
Did you just take it out to look at it, or did you take out to refill, or did you take it out to replace? If the cartridge is empty, or near empty, it’s not going to stop flashing messages until it’s replaced. If it’s neither then probably you just need to remove it again and then reseat it. If it needs refilling, and you did that, it’s just a quirk with some HP printers. HP tends to manufacture their printers in such a way that their printers will reject “refills” or “generic” cartridges. So, if you ahd the cartridge “refilled” , or if you replaced with a generic cheaper one, unfortunately, it’s very likely not going to accept and start printing again until you put in an actual HP brand cartridge.
