Do you prefer a PC or Mac?
Laptop. Which one do you prefer and why?
Answer:
Mac laptops. Overall they are more reliable and better performance. And, you can run Windows Vista on a Mac with little or no problems. Why would you buy a PC? When you buy a Mac you are effectively buying 2 powerful computers for the price of 1 powerful computer. All you need is your own copy of Vista or XP. I have both a Vista Laptop and a MacBook Pro Laptop. The MacBook Pro is my computer of choice. Below is more of a response to one of the other answers… The cheapest Mac is the “Mac Mini” and it can be had for as little as $600. To launch an application in Mac OS you can either go to the Applications folder where all apps are located, or type the name of the application in “Spotlight”, and computer will find the program for you. Or if you want you can just go to the bottom of the screen and click on the program in the “Dock”, a piece of the OS that is always accessible with 1 click. Mac’s do have a task manager, it’s called “Activity Monitor”. Here you can quit any process, and monitor every aspect from memory, cpu usage, network usage, HD space, etc. Mac OS lets you search not only your applications/documents, but your entire hard drive. For instance, if you’re a Graphic Designer, and you need to find a specific font file, you merely type the name of the font, and it will bring up the font file. You can’t do that on Windows Vista as it only does documents/applications.
